Louise R. Taylor, 100 of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, passed away on December 17, 2017 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Louise was born in Linen, Pennsylvania, to the late William and Jeanette Robinson on March 12, 1917. She married Max L. Taylor on June 26, 1942 in Linden, Pennsylvania. She was active in Covenant Central Presbyterian Church in Williamsport, PA. She loved spending time on the banks of the Susquehanna River with her extended family. She also enjoyed singing hymns, walking in the woods, and watching wildlife. She is survived by her daughters Anne (Thomas) Barnett, Susan (Brinton) Strode; grandchildren, Cindra Kerscher, Erin Barnett, Lesley Barnett, and Taylor Strode; great-grandchildren, Emily Kerscher, Quinn Kerscher, and Max Kerscher. She was preceded in death by her husband Max, seven siblings: Charles, Eleanor, Betty, Bill, Edith, Claire, and Janet. A Memorial Service and burial will take place in the spring in Williamsport, PA. Memorials may be made to Covenant Central Presbyterian Church, 807 W. 4th Street, Williamsport, PA 17701. The family wishes to extend out sincere thanks to the staff of Lutheran Life Villages at Pine Valley and the caregivers of Shoaff Village for their tender care of Louise for the past three years.
