Lois E. Coleman, 90, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Woodview Health Care Center in Fort Wayne. Born in New Castle, IN, to the late Irvin and Dollie Joan Kuhn. Lois spent many years living in Fort Wayne and graduated from Central High School in 1946. She worked as a Manager with Wolf and Dessauer and LS Ayres for 20 years, then worked for Bailey, Banks, and Biddle Jewelry Store until her retirement in 1991. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and formerly St. Matthew Lutheran Church. Surviving are her son, Dan ( Kim ) Coleman of Fort Wayne, IN; daughter, Sharon (Rick) DeJarnett of KY; 7 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren, Lois was preceded in death by husbands, Carl L Coleman, and Paul Bracken, siblings Anna Olive, Beatrice, Charles William, Lenore, Marie Gaskell and Willfore Orvel. Service is 10:00 am, Monday April 23, 2018 at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue with calling one hour prior, with Pastor Dale M. Henderson officiating. Calling also Sunday, April 22, 2018, from 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the St. Matthew Lutheran Church.
