Logan Robert Blaising, 23, went to his heavenly home on Saturday, January, 7, 2017. Logan was born in Fort Wayne and graduated from Concordia Lutheran High School in 2011. He was currently enrolled full time at Ivy Tech, pursuing a degree in animal science. Since his recent illness and amputation, he had been spending time mentoring Holy Cross Confirmands and learning new workout routines at AWP. He and his girlfriend Danielle spent a lot of time with family and playing with Jayce, Ayden, Brooklyn, Cameron, and Liliana. Logan loved going to restaurants of various worldly cuisines with his dad, Chris and step mother Lynda. This last season Ryne and Logan saw their run as 3 year straight champs end in a close battle in the fantasy football championship game. Logan had already picked a team name out for next season and was ready to make a 5 year run to the championship game and winning his 4th title in 5 years. His determination was an inspiration to all, and we are thankful that the Lord provided us with the extra months to be with him. He had many plans for the future, but the Lord said it was time to come home. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his father Chris (Lynda) Blaising of Columbia City, mother Luann (Miles) Nitz of Fort Wayne, brother Ryne Blaising of Chicago, sister Jenna (Ben) Pearce of Indianapolis, step-sisters Kara (Ryan) Konz of Indianapolis, Victoria (Troy) Shank of Laotto, and Erin (Jeremy) Peer of Fort Wayne, step brothers Christian Nitz of West Lafayette and Paul Keim of Fort Wayne, grandparents Stephen Blaising, Donald and Marcille Karbach, Rev. Mark and Mickie Nitz, uncles Larry (Cheryl) Karbach, Steve Karbach, Matt Christman, Mike (Kim) Nitz, aunts Meg (Paul) Marquardt, Michelle (Jim) Mueller, nieces, Mary Ann, Leighah, Marley, Annabelle, cousins Laura (Rocky) Smith, Lisa (Deke) Conner, Troy & Colin Christman, Danny Karbach, Cory (Jessica) Karbach, Carrie Karbach, Annie and Isaiah Carillo, Jessica (Matt) Parks, Josh Marquardt, Miles and Heidi Nitz, second cousins, Jayce, Ayden, Brooklyn, Cameron, Liliana,Tyler, Taylor, and Kallie, girlfriend Danielle Miller who stayed by his side and encouraged him daily, and beloved dog Atticus. He is joining in heaven aunt, Janice Christman, grandmother, Irene Blaising, and beloved dog, Molly. Service is 11:00 am, January 13, 2017 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 3425 Crescent Avenue with calling an hour prior. Calling at - D.O.
