Leland E Lynch, 94, passed away April 19, 2018. He was born in Marvell, Arkansas on July 18, 1923, the son of the late William and Katherine Lynch. Leland worked as a diesel mechanic at Kenosha Auto Transport for 32 years before his retirement in 1983. Leland grew the very best sweet corn in Grabill, IN, which people always knew him for. He also enjoyed fishing in his spare time. Surviving are his daughter, Peggy (Dave Vendrely) Oberley; brothers, Waymond Lynch and Curtis Lynch; sister, Josie Bland; and grandson, Syrus Oberley. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorene Lynch; daughter, Debbie Cheryl; brothers, George Lynch and Howard Lynch; sisters, Betty Bass and Dee Myrtis; and grandsons, Sean and Joel Oberley. A cemetery service will take place on Monday at Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne, IN on Monday April 23, 2018 at 2pm. Arrangements entrusted to D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Home.
