Lawrence "Larry" Murphy, 80, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Larry was the son of the late William and Marie Murphy. Larry was a truck driver for many years prior to working at Scotts as a merchandise stocker for ten years prior to retirement. Larry loved to be out in the public and being social. Surviving are his children, Mike (Lacy) Murphy of TX, Brian (Amanda) Murphy of Bryan, OH, Lisa (Cavin) Gray, Dawn (Bryan) Philpot, Kyle Murphy, Danny (Sarah) Murphy all of Fort Wayne, and twenty grandchildren. Larry was preceded in death by his siblings, Margaret White, Annie Murphy, Helen Pluto, Mary Smith, Kathy Murphy, Florence Murphy, Frank, Bob, Bill, and Eddie Murphy. Service is 11 am, Monday, February 12, 2018 at Mungovan Simple, 2114 S. Calhoun Street, with calling one hour prior.
