Keiko Isaka Conquest, 84, of Fort Wayne, passed away peacefully at home on May 21, 2019 surrounded by family. She was born in Yokosuka, Japan to the late Shigeru and Midori (Murata) Isaka. She worked on US Army and US Navy bases in Japan. In 1968 she married LCDR Donald D. Conquest. She became a Naturalized citizen in 1970 and was a Federal Employee in supportive services with the US Army and US Navy. In 1991, she was awarded the Dept. of the Army Certificate of Achievement for her supportive efforts with Operation Desert Storm. After they both retired in New Jersey, they moved to Fort Wayne in 2005. She enjoyed musical and theater events, ceramics, cross- stitch, and her activities with her ladies church group. Keiko is survived by her daughters, Vickie Conquest and Lorrie Pearson; grandchildren, Nathaniel Richart and Emilie Giles; two great-grandchildren, Delainey and Malachi Giles; and two sisters, Toshiko Ema and Yukiko Isaka. She is proceeded in passing by her husband, (Ret) LCDR Donald D. Conquest; brother Hiroaki Isaka; and sister, Chie Mochizuki. There will be a memorial gathering held at 3:00pm on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at the D.O. McComb & Sons funeral home 4017 Maplecrest Road Fort Wayne, Indiana 46815 with visitation one hour prior.
