Kazuo Togashi passed away November 26, 2017 and was born in Keaau, Hawaii along with his 2 sisters and 3 brothers. He fought in the Korean War in the Tank division as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army. After coming back from his service, he met his wife Doris Uyeda and got married in Hawaii. Soon after that, he and his newly wedded wife moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1956, where he pursued a Chemical Engineering degree from Indiana Tech and Purdue programs. After graduating, he was hired by Dana Corporation here in Fort Wayne, Indiana as a Chemical Engineer and worked there for 35 years until he retired. Kazuo and Doris were married for 46 years until her death in 1996. Kaz as he was sometimes known as, is survived by his son Darryl Togashi, daughter-in-law Saghi, beloved grandsons Kyle and Eric, and sister Kay Matsuwaki. He enjoyed working on math problems, converting analog music into the "new" digital format, and talking about his grandsons. He will be truly missed. Calling at - D.O.
