Kaylene D. Wannemacher , 68, passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Visiting Nurse in Fort Wayne. She was born in Fort Wayne, IN to the late Richard C and Margaret C Sebold. Kaylene graduated from Concordia High School in 1968 and earned her teaching degree from Ball State and her Masters from Indiana University Fort Wayne. She taught elementary education for several years and was the Pre School Director at Epiphany Lutheran and Concordia Lutheran Church for over 10 years. After retirement she was a home health aide and liked helping others. She was a faithful and longtime member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church where she actively participated in Bible study class. Her hobbies included playing cards and dominoes, reading, enjoying boat rides and watching sunsets at Pretty Lake, and planning and hosting holiday parties. Kaylene's true passion was her family and spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are her loving husband, Ronald E Wannemacher of Fort Wayne, IN; daughter, Kristine E (Ken) Lawrance of Fishers, IN; son, Jeffrey S (Andrea) Bredemeier of Fort Wayne, IN;step-children, Rhonda (Mark) Southwick of Leo, IN; Ryan (Cheryl) Wannemacher of Leo, IN; Christian (Dede) Burns of Carmel, IN; Dustin Wannemacher of Cape Coral, FL; brother, David (Joy) Sebold of Fort Wayne, IN; 5 grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren and 1 step great grandchild. Service is 10:00 am, Thursday August 23, 2018 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 3425 Crescent Avenue Fort Wayne, IN with calling one hour prior, with Pastor Mark A. Neubacher officiating. Calling also Wednesday, August 22, 2018, from 2 - 4 & 6- 8 pm at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home 4017 Maplecrest Road Fort Wayne IN. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
