Karen Elizabeth Leffers, 54, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2017. She was born in Fort Wayne, IN on December 4, 1962, the daughter of Leroy and Marcia Leffers.
Karen worked at Easter Seals ARC for 35 years, and was a life long member of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church. She had a great love of dogs, and watching movies from the 50's and 60's era, especially Grease. She enjoyed spending time with her special friends and the staff at Bethesda Lutheran Community, as well as Easter Seal ARC. Surviving are her mother, Marcia Leffers; and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Leroy Leffers in 2015. A Mass Christian Burial will be held at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church 1502 E. Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46825 Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 11AM with calling 1 hour prior. Visitation will take place at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley 1320 E. Dupont Road Fort Wayne, IN 46825 from 2-4pm on Sunday, July 23, 2017.
Burial will take place at Concordia Cemetery Gardens Lake Ave Fort Wayne, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to Masses at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church or Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church, Easter Seals ARC, and Bethesda Lutheran Community.
