Judith "Judy" A. Evans, 77, passed away Monday, September 25, 2017 in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Judy enjoyed caring for her family as a homemaker. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. Surviving are her husband, Gary Evans of Fort Wayne; son, Thomas (Robbi) Evans of Garrett, IN; 3 grandchildren, Daniel, Elizabeth, and Brittany; and 4 great-grandchildren. Judy was preceded in death by her daughter, Lori Pyle; parents, Walter and Pearl Jean Braun; and sister, Diane Woods. Service is 10:30 am, Friday, September 29, 2017 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1636 St. Mary's Avenue with calling one hour prior. Calling also at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Rd on Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
