JUDITH E. "JUDY" OSHA, 75, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at her home in Syracuse, IN. Born in Fort Wayne, IN, Judy graduated from North Side High School in 1960 and went to work for the Lincoln National Life Insurance Company, where she met William, her husband of 53 years. After dedicating several years to raising her children, Thomas and Robert, she returned to school to study nursing, eventually earning a BSN degree in 1985 from Indiana University and later her RN. She worked for almost 20 years in the family practice of Edwin Bolander, MD. She subsequently held positions as Director of Nursing for a senior care facility, member support with the United States Chamber of Commerce, and customer care at Heckaman Homes. Judy was preceded in death by her loving parents Elton and Hilda Gordon and by her husband William. Surviving are her son; Thomas (Susan) Osha of Wyoming, Ohio and their children, Zach and Peyton Osha; son, Robert (Stephanie) Osha of Melbourne Beach, Florida and their children, Tyler and Ryan Osha; brother, John Gordon of Clearwater FL. Service is 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017, at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, with calling two hours prior beginning at 11:00 am. Entombment in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
