Joseph Chaney, 65, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2017. He was born in Fort Wayne, IN on November 15, 1951. Joseph joined the US Marines upon his graduation from High School. He was a trivia buff and a diehard Cleveland Browns fan. Surviving are his children; Justin (Amanda) Chaney, Alexis (Bryan) Murphy, Travis Chaney, and Tara Chaney; 4 grandchildren; siblings, Karen Snyder, Kathy (Steve) Chester, and Lisa Jenkins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alva and Norma Chaney; siblings, Steve Chaney and Kim Willett. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 12pm with calling 1 hour prior at Dayspring Community Church 2305 Indiana Ave., Auburn, IN 46706. Memorial Contributions may be made to DeKalb County Humane Shelter. Arrangements by D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park.
