John C. Suelzer, 71, passed away Friday, December 1, 2017 in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, John worked for Carpet One Floor and Home for over 33 years. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, and the Knights of Columbus. Surviving are his wife of over 50 years, Judith Suelzer; son, Anthony (Lisa) Suelzer; daughter, Michelle (Greg) Pollick all of Fort Wayne; 2 grandchildren Kathleen and Sydney Suelzer; and his brother, Steve (Jean) Suelzer of Bowling Green, OH. John was preceded in death by his grandson, Keegan Suelzer; parents, Bernard and Mary Agnes Suelzer; sister, Martha Broshar, and brother, Thomas Suelzer. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am, Thursday, December 7, 2017 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 2120 S. Harrison St with calling one hour prior. Calling also at D. O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Rd on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
