Jocelyn Ann (Schwartz) Blum, 76, of Fort Wayne, IN, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, November 3, 2018, after a brief illness. Born April 22, 1942, in Berne, IN, Jocelyn was a wife of godly character, a caring, loving, and encouraging mother and grandmother, a devoted sister and sister-in-law, and a loyal friend.

Jocelyn graduated from Berne French High School in 1960 and Lutheran School of Nursing in 1963. She married James Blum, also of Berne, on Sept. 5, 1964. Jocelyn was an active member with her husband of First Missionary Church, The Chapel, and Emmanuel Community Church. She loved to sing in choir, study the Bible, and support missionaries.

She is survived by her husband, James Blum; her daughters, Jennifer (Bob) Nahrstadt, and Joan (Bill) Doran; grandchildren Michael (Sarah) Nahrstadt, Drew Doran, and Mikayla Doran; and sister, Amy (Ken) Troutman. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Ruth Schwartz, and brother, Ted Schwartz.

The funeral will be held Saturday November 10, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Emmanuel Community Church with calling from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Visitation will also be at the church Friday, November 9, 2018 from 2–5 and 6:30–9 p.m.
