Jerome "Jerry" K. Mays, 71, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2017 at his home in Pleasant Lake. Born in Bradford, PA, Jerry worked at the Experior Corporation, Lincoln National Corporation, and most recently as a engagement manager with Sun Microsystems. Jerry also served as the project manager for St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. He served his country as a member of the U.S. Air Force. Jerry was a member of Lions Club of Pleasant Lake, IN. Surviving are his wife, Carole Mays of Pleasant Lake, IN; son, Bryan (Leah) Mays of Jefferson, GA; daughter, Karyn Christenson of Fort Wayne; 4 grandchildren, Kathryn, Hayden, Colin, and Katelyn; and brother, Randy Mays. Jerry was preceded in death by his first wife, Christine Mays; and parents Raymond and Aletha Mays. Calling is 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Rd on Saturday, July 8, 2017.
