Jeannetta Ann Parker, 71, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Parkview Hospital Randallia in Fort Wayne, IN. Born in Fort Wayne, IN, Jeannetta graduated from New Haven HS in 1964. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Jeanetta was a caring, compassionate woman and always put the needs of others first. She was a member of Leo United Methodist Church, prayer shawl ministry, cards of caring, volunteered on the military board and a mentor within the church. Her hobbies included scrap booking, photography and tending to her flower garden. Surviving are her husband of 35 years Nicholas C. Parker, mother, June Jeannetta Litzenberg, children, Laurie (Jim) Johnson, Kevin Husted, Cindy Knox all of Fort Wayne, IN; 12 grandchildren, one great granddaughter, brothers, Harold (Maria) Litzenberg of NM; Dale (Pam) Litzenberg of Bristol, IN; and daughter-in-law, Carmen Hefflefinger of Orland, FL. Jeannetta was preceded in death by father, Harold Litzenberg, son, Eric Husted. Service is 2:00 pm, Saturday September 30, 2017 at Leo United Methodist Church, 13527 Leo Road with calling one hour prior, Rev. David Heim officiating. Calling also Friday, September 29, 2017, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the church. Burial in Leo Memorial Cemetery, Leo, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the Leo United Methodist Church.
