Jeanette J. Biberstine, 91, passed away peacefully on Aug. 10, 2017. She was born in Fort Wayne Indiana on May 24, 1926 and was a life long resident. She was the daughter of the late Elmer and Blanch Amstutz. Jean attended Central Catholic High School and was a member of St. Andrews, St. Charles and St. Jude parishes. Her faith sustained her always. She enjoyed dancing, entertaining and spending time with her family at Waldron Lake. Jean retired from the ITT Aerospace Division as a lab technician. She was also a homemaker at the family home on Forest Avenue. Surviving are her daughters Karla (Vincent) Kinkade of Indianapolis, and Kari (Steven) Jefferis of Fort Wayne; grandchildren Kacie, Kevin and Molly Kinkade and Libby, Amanda and Jackson Jefferis; She is also survived by her brother JR (Kathy) Amstutz. Her grandchildren were her greatest treasure. She was preceded in death in 1993 by her beloved husband of 49 years, Karl M. Biberstine; siblings William Amstutz, Jack Amstutz, Larry Amstutz and Sondra Premier. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Tuesday August 15, 2017 at DO McComb and Sons Lakeside Park. A mass of Christian Burial will be held a 1030am at St Jude Catholic Church. Father Bob D'Souza will officiate. Burial to follow at Cathloic Cemetery. Special thanks to the caring staff at St Anne Home.
