Jane Patricia Horgan McGinnis, 69, passed away Thursday, November 23, 2017 in Alabama. Born in Detroit, MI, Jane graduated from Our Lady of Mercy High School and attended Eastern Michigan University. She worked as a Mortgage Broker with American Home Buyers for many years. Surviving are her father, James F. Horgan of Fort Wayne; spouse, William McGinnis; daughter, Melissa (Tim) Dell of Greensboro, NC; son, Bob (Joy) Werka of Madison, AL; siblings James Horgan, Jr. of Fort Wayne, Mary (Jon) Horgan-Huff of Fort Wayne, John Horgan of Palitine, IL, and Peggy (Keith) Horgan-Butts of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Emily, Eve, Sam, and Bailey; great-grandchildren, Zachary, Ryan, and Sophia Grace; nieces and nephews, James (Erin) Huff, Alexandria Horgan, Jessica Horgan, Stephanie Horgan, and James Horgan III. Jane was preceded in death by her mother, Bonnie J. Horgan and niece Elizabeth. Graveside service is 1:00 pm, December 2, 2017 at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield, MI. Calling at - D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road Friday, December 1, 2017, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, with a vigil service at 7:00 pm.
