James "Jim" Hall, 85, passed away Monday, October 2, 2017 in Fort Wayne. Born in Evansport , OH, Jim worked as a design engineer with Dana for 28 years, retiring in 1991. He was a long time member of St. Therese Catholic Church and presently a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Having been born on April 1, Jim had a great sense of humor and was a jokester. He was great at telling limericks and loved teasing. Jim enjoyed running, exercising and working in the yard. He also liked to cook breakfast and grill. Jim was an avid card player and loved playing euchre and cribbage. Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Mildred "Toots" Hall of Fort Wayne, sons, Bruce (Debra) Hall and Tom (Debra) Hall both of Fort Wayne; daughters, Kim (Frank) McMaster and Nancy Harker of both Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Madison, Tommy, Matthew, Katie, Mitchell, Mickey, Ryan, Molly, Logan, Cody, and Haley; 8 great-grandchildren; and sister, Rose Marie (Kenny) Fisher of Malinta, OH. Jim was preceded in death by sons, Mike Hall and Jimmy Hall; father, Mose Hall; mother, Clara Hall; and brother, Terrell Hall. Mass of Christian Burial is Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 2:00 pm in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 10700 Aboite Center Road with an hour of calling prior to the Mass. Calling at - D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington RoadFriday, October 6, 2017, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm with a vigil at 3:30 pm. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association 6324 Constitution Dr, Fort Wayne, IN 46804.
