JACK E. KLING, 86 passed away at his home in Fort Wayne, IN surrounded by his family, on Thursday, November, 15, 2018. He was born in Warsaw IN to the late Dewey I and Leona Kling. Jack was a US Army Veteran, serving during the Korean War. He worked a General Electric for over 30 years. Jack was a member of the I.U.E 901 and former Assistant Steward and a former member of the Southside Church of the Nazarene. Jack was an avid and longtime Komet Hockey fan. He is survived by his daughter Rebecca "Becky" Porter of Fort Wayne, IN; grandsons Justin (Rachel) Porter of Titusville, FL; Brandon Porter of Fort Wayne, IN; sister Carol Paschal of Fort Wayne, IN; and three great grandchildren. Jack was preceded in death by his wife of 25 years Judy L. Kling, brother Donald Kling and brother in law Wayne Paschal. Service will be 6pm Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home 4017 Maplecrest Road Fort Wayne, IN with calling from 3-6 pm at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to the Allen County SPCA.
