JACK C. NEIDRAUER, 84, passed away Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018, in Fort Wayne. Born in Buffalo, NY, Jack was a graduate of Silver Creek, NY, High School and Westminster College, New Wilmington, Pennsylvania. He served in the U.S. Army, and worked as an insurance adjuster for Fireman's Fund Insurance Co. for 30 years, then 6 years with K&K Insurance, retiring in 1995. He was a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, Fort Wayne Umpires Association, and was a football, softball, and volleyball official with the IHSAA for 33 years. Jack loved sports, was an avid golfer, and a big fan of Detroit teams, Purdue, and Snider. He was a wonderful father and grandfather, and he will always be remembered for his humor and game-creation skills. He is survived by his wife, Linda, and children, Cal (Theresa) of Wellington, FL, Jill (James Lemmon) of Fort Wayne; sister Kathleen (Jones) of Leawood, KS; 4 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and 11 step great-grandchildren. Service is 3:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior, Saturday, Feb. 3, at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road. Visitation also from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 2, at the funeral home.
