Howard K. Stillwell, 94, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Hamilton House in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, IN, Howard worked as a manufacturing supervisor with Dana Corporation for 42 years, retiring in 1974. He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and a 60+ year member of American Legion Post #499. Howard served honorably in WWII with the U.S. Coast Guard. Surviving are his sons, Tom (Sue) Stillwell son and Jim D. (Janet) Stillwell; daughter, Janice E. (David) Bradley; 7 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Howard was preceded in death by wife, Martha E. Stillwell; father, George C. Stilwell; mother, Emma Stilwell; siblings, Clifford L. Stilwell, Ester Stilwell Marsh, Albert Stilwell, and Benjamin Stilwell. Services will be private. There will be a memorial held at a later date. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the N.E. Indiana Heart Association or Bethlehem Lutheran Church. To sign the online guest book, go to
