Henry C. "Hank" Salge, 87, passed away surrounded by his children on Friday, February 19, 2016 at his home in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Hank worked as a Supervisor with Zollner Corp. for 46 years, retiring in 1990. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather and was a member of American Legion Post 241. Surviving are his son, Kevin R. (Karen) Salge of Fort Wayne; daughters, Cindy Salge Pedraza of Fort Wayne, April (David Samaniego) Salge of Norco, CA, and Beth (Mike) Johnson of Roanoke, IN; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. Hank was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Salge; and parents, Henry Salge Sr., and Emma Parker. Funeral Service is at 1:00 pm, Saturday, February 27, 2016 at D.O. McComb & Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Avenue with visitation from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm prior. Rev. Randy Samuels officiating. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to Matthew 25.
