Harry "Bud" W. Francies, 93, passed away on November 20, 2017. He was born on April 8, 1924 in Fort Wayne, IN. He worked as a Truck Driver for over 35 years and was named a million mile driver, accident free during his time working. After his retirement he went on to work part time for Securitas for about 10 years. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion. Bud was honorably discharged from the US Army Air Corp. Surviving are his children; Harry (Lucy) Francies II, Connie (Dennis) Smith, Rebecca (David) Preston, Lynne Ticen; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Fred Francies. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Viola Francies; second wife, Jannette Francies; daughter, Sandra Williams; siblings, Floyd, Russell, and James Francies, Vera Sesslar, and Marie Hitzman. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 11 a.m. with calling 1 hour prior at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park 1140 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, IN. Visitation will take place on Monday, November 27, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., also at the funeral home
Burial will take place at Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to Parkview Hospice.
