Harry Allphin Jr., 89 passed away at home on February 13, 2018. He was born in Ryle, KY on December 25, 1928, the son of the late Harry and Daisy Allphin. Harry served in the Air Force from 1947 to 1973 and was honorably discharged as a Senior Master Sargent. Harry was a 32nd degree Mason and a Shriner. Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Dora Allphin; children Roxanne (John) Crabill and Allan (Lisa) Allphin; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 3 sisters and 1 brother. He was preceded in death by a brother. Funeral service will take place at 1pm on Monday, February 19, 2018 at D.O. McComb and Sons Foster Park 6301 Fairfield Ave., Fort Wayne, IN 46807 with calling 2 hours prior. Burial will take place in Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to Visiting Nurse and Hospice of Fort Wayne.
