Gloria "Carna" which means, Beautiful Flower Markow, 92, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2018. Born in Bronx, New York, Gloria was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Weiss. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and caring grandmother. She worked at Bert's Big & Tall for 22 years prior to her retirement. Gloria had a kind heart and was always willing to help those in need. She was active in raising money for the disabled. Surviving are her children, Leona (Alan) Ross of American Canyon, CA, Amy (Jim) Luther of Fort Wayne, Raymond Markow of Santa Barbara, CA, Audrey (Armando) Perezselsky of Mesa, AZ, Franklin (Gina) Markow of Flower Mound, TX; 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; brothers, Leonard (Peg) Moss of NY, Wilhelm (Judith) Silber of Chicago, IL. Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell "Mickey" Markow, and grandson, Adam Luther. Cemetery Service is 3:00 pm, Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at the Fort Wayne Jewish Cemetery. Calling at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue Tuesday, April 24, 2018, 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm. Memorials may be made to the Shoaff Park Lions Club. The family would like to thank the staff at Golden Years Homestead for their tremendous care of Gloria during her stay.
