Gene A. Pelter, 82, left this physical world, Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Lutheran Life Villages, Pine Valley. He was born on October 15, 1935 in Washington D.C. After his honorable discharge from the U.S. Air Force, he moved his young family to Fort Wayne to work at Magnavox. Soon after, he began his life long career in car sales. From Studebaker, to Buick, Nissan, or Oldsmobile, if Gene couldn't find what you wanted, you didn't need it. Upon retirement, he worked for several years at Lincoln Life. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary, daughter Jean Ann, and son, Robert Lee. Survived by his son, Gene A. Jr (Jennifer) and daughter, Kathy Pelter; grandson, Aaron Johnson; and 3 great-grandchildren, all of Fort Wayne. There will be a private service.
