Gabrielle AnnNicole Patterson, age 10, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, May 8, 2017. Gabrielle was born on June 2, 2006 in Fort Wayne, IN. The Backyardigans, Disney Princesses, singing along with movies, and listening to her cousin, Miles play the piano were some of Gabrielle's favorite things. She was a fun loving, energetic little girl who was full of courage and perseverance, nothing could keep her down. Even at the young age of 10, Gabrielle knew and loved God, and could tell you all about it. She is survived by her mother, Marshelle Patterson; father, Ray Jackson; brother, Willie Patterson; grandparents, Joe and Darlene Patterson; aunt, Tinesha (Abraham) Freeman; cousins, Alexandra and Lydia Freeman; godparents, Michael and Joan Shambaugh; and god-brothers, Steven and Ryan Shambaugh. A funeral service will be held at 11AM on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Southern Heights Baptist Church 4001 S. Anthony Blvd. Ft. Wayne, IN 46806 with calling 1 hour prior. Visitation will be Friday, May 12, 2017 at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park 1320 E. Dupont Road Ft. Wayne, IN 46805 from 4-8pm. Burial to take place in Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne, IN. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Turnestone. A special thank you to Ms. Nannette and Ms. Donna from Parkview Rehab, and the staff of Parkview Pediatric ICU.
