Franz-Martin (Marty) Peters, 68yrs. old, passed away Wednesday 8/1/18 at Lutheran hospital.Marty was born in Oberbauer, Germany on March 23, 1950. He is the son of Franz-Joseph and Charlotte Peters of Tecklenburg, Germany.Left to honor & remember his love are his wife, Jeanie, of 45yrs. of Westfield, N.Y., his children, grandchildren, Edda Peters Bryant with her husband, Wayne and kids, Madelyn and Crosby of New Jersey, Mathew Peters of Ft.Wayne, Franz-Christoph Peters with his wife, Nancy and son, Franz-Emmerich of Ohio, Kobi Peters of Ft. Wayne, his sister, Charlotte Ball of Ft. Wayne and sister Elisabeth Holtkamp of NYC.He attended Deutsches Goldschmiedehaus in Hanau, Germany, 1968-1970.He immigrated to the U.S. in 1971.He dedicated his life to his family and long time Jewelry business.He was an avid ice hockey enthusiast with his family and watching his sons play.He loved being with his family and telling stories of childhood in Germany and visiting there.Very proud of his children and very loving grandfather. Service is 11:00 am, August 7, 2018 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1502 E. Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Calling on Monday, August 6, 2018, 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at D.O.
