"Big Frank" Frankie Drummond, 68, went to heaven to kneel at the feet of his Lord, Saturday, January 21, 2017. He was born in Mayfield, KY on October 22, 1948 the son of the late Elza Franklin and Mabel Drummond. Frank attended and graduated from Columbia City High School. Frank worked at Big Rigs for several years before retiring. Prior to becoming the assistant manager at Big Rigs, he was manager at Long Electric and Fire Chief of Tri Lakes Fire Dept. He loved and actively served the Lord in every area of his life. Racing, fishing, and being with his family were the things he was most passionate about. Surviving are his wife of 16 years, Vicki L. Drummond; children; David (Kim) Spicer, Elizabeth Spicer, Joseph Spicer, and Timothy Spicer; brothers, Rev. James (Shelly) Drummond, and Rev. Dr. Hank (Andy) Drummond; and 7 grandchildren. Funeral service is 2pm, Wednesday January 25, 2017 at New Heights Baptist Church, 1816 Klug Drive with Rev. Gary Lovens officiating and calling 1 hour prior. Visitation at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road Tuesday, January 24, 2017, 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Burial to take place at a later date.
