Eugene A Conrad Jr., 92, passed away Friday, October 31, 2014 at the Hospice Home of Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, IN, Eugene worked as a carpenter for many years, retiring in 1987 . He was a U S Army WW II veteran and Purple Heart Recipient, wounded at the Battle of the Bulge. Surviving are his nephews, Steve (Linda) Conrad and Kevin (Linda) Conrad both of Fort Wayne; nieces, Lisa Conrad of Fort Wayne, Laurie (Dana) Thompson of Abbeville, SC, Linda (Greg) Ianucilli, Judy Buchan, Cheryl Janeway, Pam McElroy and Chris Woodard all of Fort Wayne. Eugene was preceded in death by his parents Eugene A Sr and Anntoinette Conrad, sisters Theresa Huntine and Joanne Myers, brothers, James and Bernard. Mass of Christian Burial is Thursday, 10:30 am, November 6, 2014 at St. Jude Catholic Church with calling one hour prior. Fr. Jake Runyon officiating. Calling will be Wednesday, November 5, 2014, from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a vigil at 4:30 pm at Mungovan & Sons Memorial Chapel , 2114 South Calhoun Street.
