Emily "Jean" Gump, 91, passed away on November 20, 2017. She was born in Rural Allen County, Indiana on September 4, 1926, the daughter of the late William and Anna Maloney.
She was a member of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church and Society.
She is survived by her children, Paul Gump of Chicago, IL, Peter (Jessica) Gump of Offalon, MO, Jocille (Terry) Donahue of Centreville, VA, Joyce (Robert) Bishop of Zionsville, IN, and Mary Lynn (James) Kessler of Fort Wayne; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Wood of Columbia City, IN
She was preceded in death by her husband Marlow Gump in 2015; sisters, Betty Ann Carsten, Rose Maher, Sharon Wood; brothers, John W. Maloney, and Dick Maloney.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Heartland Hospice, and the support of St. Vincent De Paul Church.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 1:30pm with visitation from 11:30am - 1:30pm at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, 1502 E. Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46825.
Burial will take place at St. Vincent De Paul Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society or Masses.
