Eileen R. "Tootie" Shuster, 96, passed away Monday, September 18, 2017 at Coventry Meadows LLC in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, IN, April 18, 1921 to the late John and Helen Vorndran. Eileen retired from General Electric after 40 years of service. She was a member of Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and GE Elex Club. Eileen was never afraid of hard work and helped build her own home and lake cottage. She enjoyed working in her flower garden, family gatherings at Crooked Lake, and was a world traveler. Surviving are her brother, Victor Vorndran of Fort Wayne, IN 6 nieces and 4 nephew, and step-children, Eileen was preceded in death by her first husband, John Anderson, and husband, Robert A Shuster. Service is 2:00 pm, Friday September 22, 2017 at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue with calling 2 hours prior, Fr. David Voors officiating.
