Edleen Elizabeth Gunn Marczak Died July 10, 2018 in Fort Wayne, IN. Daughter of Bernard and Catherine Ware Gunn born Jan. 29,1924 in Starkville, MS. She lived most of her life in Gilbert, LA where she was a teacher, counselor and life time member of the First Baptist Church. She graduated from Louisiana State Normal College with an A.B. degree in music and from Louisiana State University with a MS in education. She was very a proud member of the National Society Colonial Dames XVII Century, a member of the Omega chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma and Epsilon State President from 1975-1977 and a member of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She supported the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home and other ministries. She was active in Franklin Parish civic and patriotic projects. She moved to Indiana in 2009 and attended Westview Christian Missionary Alliance Church. She loved to meet people, read books, travel internationally and go out to eat. She leaves behind her son Andy (Serena) Marczak. Her grandsons; Christopher (Kili) Marczak of CA, Michael (Suzanne) Marczak of CA. Michael (Brooke) Garwood of TN, Travis Garwood of IN, and granddaughter Sasha (Jammie) Mosser of MI. She has 10 great grandchildren; Evan, Zoey, Jovie, Chloe, and Sofi in CA, Eva and Lilah in MI, and Gianna, Jillian, and Christina of TN as well as a multitude of dear friends across the states. Plans for burial and other traditional events have not been finalized. Donations in her name can be made to Louisiana Baptist Children's Home or Suzuki Academy of Kalamazoo Michigan.
