Edith C. Hannan, 87, passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2019 at Heritage Pointe in Warren, IN. She was born in Rushville, IN and graduated from Muncie Central in 1950. She married Frederick Bernard Hannan and he preceded her in death on May 16, 2000. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Edith enjoyed playing bingo and shopping. Above all she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and loved spending time with her family. Surviving are her children, Michael P. (Jeanine) Hannan, Catherine A. (Bosko) Guska, Theresa E. (Rick) Sharpe, Paul Daniel Hannan, Susan M. McDonald, and Joseph M. (Stephanie) Hannan; 18 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Anna Mae Hanley, Rita Mansfield, and Joe Rooney. Edith was also preceded in death by son, Frederick B. Hannan Jr.; brother, Paul Beebe; and her sister, Marie Gartrell. Visitation from 3-4pm Friday, August 16, 2019 at Mungovan Simple. Burial in Marion National Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Family Care Hospice or Heritage Pointe of Warren, IN.
