Dorothy Juanita Stuart, 90, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne. She was born in Baskets, KY in Henderson County to the late George Bowlds and Odessa Dunn, Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was considered as a gourmet cook and loved making meals for the family and friends. She was a faithful and longtime member of Pilgrim Baptist Church, and also was very active with Jack and Jill of America a group dedicated to mothers with the idea of bringing together children in a social and cultural environment. Surviving are her sons, Clarence Stuart, III of Fort Wayne, IN; Tony (Shonda) Stuart of Chicago, IL; Darryl Stuart of San Francisco, CA; half-brother, George Howard of IN; grandchildren, Whittney (R.J.) Harvey of Columbia, MO; Clarence Stuart, IV of Maricopa AZ; Oliver Stuart of West Lafayette, IN; Zachary Stuart of Cupertino CA; great-grandchild, Clarence V, Anniston, Kal El, Cayden. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence F. Stuart. Service is 11:00 m, Saturday May 26, 2018 at Pilgrim Baptist Church, 1331 Gay Street with calling one hours prior to service.
