Doris V. (Cummins) Emenhiser , 92, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Visiting Nurse in Fort Wayne. Born in Montpelier, OH, January 8 1925 to the late Carson N. and Flossie P. Cummins. Doris was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and crafts and spending her winters in Naples, FL. Doris was a former member of ST.Luke Lutheran church for over 50 years and a current member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Surviving are her children, Linda L. Ruhl of Bonita Springs, FL; David W. (Sharon) Emenhiser of Decatur, IN; Diann K. (David) Hines of Auburn, IN; 7 grandchildren, 9 Great-grandchildren, and one great-grandchild on the way and also survived by her sister, Lois A. Connolly of Fort Wayne, IN. Doris was preceded in death by husband of 68 years, Howard D. Emenhiser, son, Robert Emenhiser, sisters, Helen I. Wilson, Marilyn M. Strait, and her parents. Service is 10:30 am, Wednesday September 13, 2017 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 7819 Decatur Rd with calling one hour prior, Rev. Michael Trombley officiating. Calling Tuesday, September 12, 2017, from 2 - 5 pm & 7 -9 pm at D.O. McComb & Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Avenue. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
