Donald Spillner , 85, passed away Friday, December 29, 2017. Born in Fort Wayne, IN, Donald served in the Navy during the Korean war. He retired after 37 years from Rea Magnet Wire. As an avid gardener, his Japanese garden and Koi pond were his pride. Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Yukiko Spillner of Fort Wayne, son, Mike (Jeanette) Spillner of Fort Wayne, 5 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ora Spillner, and daughter, Diana Flueckiger. Calling at - D. O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road Monday, January 1, 2018, 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Memorials may be made to the Parkview Hospice or Visiting Nurse.
