Don Rayl, 82, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Born in Seymour, IN, Don worked as a truck driver with Consolidated Frieghtways for 35 years. He was a Mason and past teamster. Don was the receiver of the 3 million mile safe driving award and honorably served in the United States Navy. Surviving are his beloved wife of 62 years, Patricia (Poole) Rayl of Leo, IN; sons, Ronald W. (Marcia) Rayl of Leo, IN and Tim R (Donna) Rayl of Delhi, IA; grandchildren, Tyler R. Rayl of Cedar Falls, IA, Kristin (Matthew) Rodman of Greenwood, IN, and Kyle (Jenna) Rayl of Fishers, IN; and great-grandchildren, Brady Rodman, Zoey Rodman, Tynley Rayl and Jacoby Rayl. Don was preceded in death by son, C. Randal Rayl; father, Herschel E. Rayl; and mother, Mildred M. Rayl. Service is 11:00 am, Monday December 4, 2017 at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road with Pastor Ron Hawkins officiating with an hour of visitation prior to the service. Cremation to follow.
