Dolores I. Nine, 82, passed away Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Coventry Meadows LLC in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, IN, Dolores worked as an executive secretary with Wabash Fiber Box Company for 31 years, retiring in 1997. The Fort Wayne native was a life-long member of Emmaus Lutheran Church. Dolores enjoyed working in her flower gardens, sewing, and reading. She loved spending time with her grandkids. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother and will be missed greatly. Surviving are her Spouse of 62 years, John H. Nine Sr; sons, John H (Lee), Jr. of Fishers and Dale (Angie) Nine of Markle; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and son-in-law Ed Steinbacher. Dolores was preceded in death by father, August W. Meyer; mother, Welma B Meyer; and daughter Linda Steinbacher. Service is 10:30 am, Friday, December 15, 2017 at Emmaus Lutheran Church - Covington Road, 8626 Covington Road with Rev. Roy Olsen officiating with an hour of calling prior to the service. Calling at - D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, Thursday, December 14, 2017, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
