Dennis W Norris, 66, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Parkview Hospital Randallia in Fort Wayne. Denny was born in Wolf Lake, Indiana and was self-employed. He served our country and is a United States Army Veteran. He loves spending time with family and adores his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Denny always puts others before himself. He is truly a devoted family man and enjoys the outdoors. Employed as a truck driver for many years, he loves the open road and traveling. Surviving are his daughter, Kristeena (Chris) Smead of Fort Wayne; son, Jamison (Stacy) Norris of Fort Wayne; granddaughters, Samantha Smead and Elexus Smead; grandson, Braxton (Katie) Eckelbarger; great-granddaughters, Emma and Madyson; and sister, Deanna Meditz of Fort Wayne. Denny was preceded in death by his spouse of 50 years, Sharon L. Norris; father, David M. Norris; mother, Christena Norris; brothers, Clyde Sorrerll, David Norris, Joseph Michael Norris, and Richard Norris; and sister, Carolyn Hobbs. Service is 6:00 pm, Monday, July 17, 2017 at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, with Rev. Donald Sandmann officiating. Calling at - D.O.
