Deborah J. Crooks, 63, passed away Friday, August 18, 2017 in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Deborah worked for Waterfield Mortgage Company and most recently as administrative assistant with SAC Finance for 15 years. She was an active volunteer with Parkview. Deborah enjoyed working in her flower garden, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are her husband, David Crooks; son, Stephen M. (Jenny) Crooks; daughter, Stephanie (Don) Hoffman; son, Jason Crooks all of Huntertown, IN; sister, Pamela Fike of Cocoa Beach, FL; grandchildren, Payton, Rylee, Hanna, Kylie, and Jacob Crooks, Donnie and Alyssa Hoffman; and Azura (Nick) Sakellariou; and great-granddaughter, Katerina Sakellariou. Deborah was preceded in death by her son, Jeremy Crooks; parents, Darwin Fry and Marilyn Huffine; and daughter-in-law, Belinda Crooks. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am, Thursday, August 24, 2017 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1502 E. Wallen Rd, with calling one hour prior. Calling also at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Rd on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 4:30 pm.
