David E. White, 83, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Covington Manor in Fort Wayne. He was born in Connersville, IN, to the late Richard and Verna White. David worked as a wire drawer with Rea Magnet Wire for 38 years. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching IU basketball, Colts, and attending Tin Caps baseball, where he was honored by throwing out the first pitch of the game. David and his wife enjoyed entertaining and hosting card parties. Surviving are his children, Daniel F. White of Fort Wayne, IN, Deb McCulloch of Fremont, IN; grandchildren, Danielle Sevrence of Fort Wayne, IN; Brandi (Aaron) Brockman of Fort Wayne, IN; Cory (Nyree) Brockman of Huntington, CA; Allison White of Los Angeles, CA; Drake White of Fort Wayne, IN; great-grandchild, Rhyker Brockman, sisters, Marge (Fred) Fox of Connersville, IN and Kay (Bill) Smith of Fairfax, IA. David was preceded in death by his wife Patricia J White, daughter, Alice Brockman. Service is 6:00 pm, Friday, June 29, 2018 at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 E. Dupont Road Fort Wayne, IN with calling two hours prior. Private burial at Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
