Craig E. Ball, 47, passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018 in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Craig was a 1989 graduate of Northrop High School and earned two degrees from IPFW. He was a manager at Kroger and had previously worked at FedEx. He attended Brookside Church and served honorably in the United States Air Force and Air National Guard for 24 years. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed camping, fishing, bowling, and all sports. Craig really liked traveling with his wife and family. Above all he was a devoted husband and father and loved being with his family. Surviving are his wife of 22 and a half years, Angela Ball; children, Merrick Ball, Riley Ball, and Marina Ball; mother Cheryl Ball; one brother, Mark Ball; nephews, Braeden Ball, Trevor Ball, Jace Haywood, and Jaythen Haywood; niece Keegan Ball; many cousins; and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father James L. Ball Jr. Service is 11:00 am, Monday, October 22, 2018 at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Funeral Home, 1325 Dupont Road with calling one hour prior to the service. Calling at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, Sunday, October 21, 2018, 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project or the Fort Wayne Rescue Mission.
