Cleo F. Miller, 84, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2017 at in Fort Wayne. He grew up in Pennville, IN, graduating from Pennville High School in 1950. He later graduated from Purdue University in 1954. Cleo taught high school for one year at Bluffton High School then he served two years in the US Army going to Germany. He then returned and taught biology at Garrett High School along with coaching both golf and football. Cleo also taught driver's education during the summer. In his free time he enjoyed golfing and fishing. Cleo also enjoyed supporting his students by attending athletic events at Garrett High School and Purdue University. Surviving are his former wife, Sharon Miller; sister, Rosalee Bentz; brother, Larry (Wilma) Hysell; sisters-in-law, Helen Miller and Mary Miller; 4 nephews; and 11 nieces. Cleo was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Bessie Cleo Miller; step-mother, Ruby Hysell-Miller brothers, Vaughn Miller, and Glen Miller; and sister Wanda Miller.
