Christopher A. vanAttenhoven, 30, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017 in Albion, IN. Born in Augsburg, Germany, Christopher worked as a pipe fitter with Shambaugh and Sons and was a member of the Local Union #166. Surviving are his four children, Ayden, Gabrielle, Ava, and Vincent; mother, Jacquelene (Jeffrey) Finton of New Haven, IN; father, Anthony (Melody) vanAttenhoven of Auburn, IN; sister, Amanda Faye of Fort Wayne, IN; brother, Anthony (Victoria) vanAttenhoven of Avilla, IN; grandmother, Bonnetta Lantz; grandfather, Francis Spieth; 3 step-sisters; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins. Christopher was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rudolph and Poppie vanAttenhoven. Service is 10:30 am, Friday, June 16, 2017 at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road with calling one hour prior. Calling also Thursday, June 15, 2017, 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
