Christine R. Wilson, 53, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Lutheran Hospital after her battle with cancer. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Christine graduated from Wayne High School. She was a bartender for many years. She was a loving mother, daughter, and grandma. Christine enjoyed gardening, crochet, reading, jigsaw puzzles, and spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are her father, David Wilson of Mission, TX; mother, Joyce Wood of Fort Wayne; son, Joseph Wallace of Fort Wayne, grandchildren, Anthony and Alyssa Wallace and brother, Chris (Rebecca) Wilson of Fort Wayne. Christine was preceded in death by her grandparents, Virginia and Gordon Perry, and step-father, Larry Wood. Calling at D.O. McComb & Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Avenue Monday, June 6, 2016, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Memorials may be made to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana or ASPCA.
