Christine A. Ohler, 65, passed away Friday, April 21, 2017 at Lutheran Hospital. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Christine was the daughter of Harold and Patricia Ohler who survive. Christine graduated from North Side High School. She was the owner of Tasty Pizza in North Manchester for many years. She was a chef at Oakwood Inn in Syracuse, and the head cook with Warsaw Community Schools during her working career. Christine was an avid birdwatcher. She also enjoyed animals, gardening, cooking, country music, and watching NASCAR especially Jimmy Johnson. Surviving are her husband, Scott Plank of Claypool; children, Stephanie Hood of South Whitley, William (Kristina King) Hood of Leesburg; siblings, Cathy Howard, Dan Ohler both of Fort Wayne, David (Tamara) Ohler of Radcliff, KY; grandchildren, Brandon (Whitney) Carpenter, Amanda Hood, Tyler Ratliff, Ethan Ratliff, Madilyn Hood; great-grandchildren, Benson, and soon to be Willow. Service is 2:00 pm, Friday, April 28, 2017 at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road with calling one hour prior, Pastor Ralph Klinker officiating. Calling at the funeral home Thursday, April 27, 2017, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Memorials may be made to the Lung Cancer Research Foundation. To sign the online guest book, go to
