Caroline F. Hille, 85, passed away Monday, January 25, 2016 at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Caroline was a 1948 graduate of Central High School. Later she worked as a Key Punch Operator with North American Van Lines for many years. She enjoyed gardening, watching horse races and crime shows, and loved her kitties. Surviving are her husband, Jerome Hille; daughter, Rosemary Hille; and sons, John (Sharon) Hille and Robert (Tammy) Hille, all of Fort Wayne; daughter-in-law, Diana Smith of Fort Wayne; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and sister, Barbara Zeig of Nashville, IN. Caroline was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Caroline Windhorst; and sisters, Margaret Working and Dorothy Phillipps. Memorials may be made to the Allen County SPCA.
