Carol S. Borches, 79, passed away Friday, June 30, 2017 in Fort Wayne. Born in Cincinnati, OH, Carol was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women. Three of Carol's passions in life were her grandchildren, gardening, and playing cards. Surviving are her Spouse of 47 years, Donald Borches, of Fort Wayne; son, Robert H (Kelly) Wilson of Valparaiso; daughter, Patty (Greg) Ingermann of Fort Wayne; sister, Judy (Pete) Erschell of Fort Thomas, KY; sister, Cathy Schulz of Naperville, IL; and 4 grandchildren. Carol was preceded in death by father, George Gainer; mother, Laura Gainer; and son, Jeffrey Wilson. Service is 11:00 am, Friday July 7, 2017 at Bethel United Methodist Church with an hour calling prior, with Pastor Brian Campbell officiating. Calling at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, Thursday, July 6, 2017 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Burial will be at a later date.
